Fun Monday

Our wonderful hostess this week is Gattina, who is suffering from writer's cramps!! Here is her assignment:

As I am a very curious person, I just want you to show us a picture of your blogging place ! Your room or bed or whatever space(s) or place(s) you have to write your posts.

Thank you for a nice, easy assignment on this holiday weekend!!!

Here is where I used to blog when I first started.....in our computer room. This was fine in the beginning, but once I became hooked on blogging I was spending more and more time here in this room.....but my family was....

...here, in this room, our family room. I would feel guilty being separated from them so I splurged and purchased a laptop. Now you can find me in this room, with my family....

...on this couch blogging away. Now I don't feel too guilty and I am very comfortable and I am in the same room as my family....

...and this is my view from my Blogging Couch!!
All is now well in my world!!

Very nice change, I love the photos of your home. I don't have a laptop, but Bob's been encouraging me to get one.

Know what you mean about feeling guilty about hiding away to blog. You've found a solution that works for all. Just curious--is that a really bad storm out your window? Looks like a tropical tree blowing in the wind. If you're in the path of Gustav, take care.

Alison,

I love the glimpses into your life! Now I will be able to imagine where you are when I read your posts. Somehow that makes it make me feel even closer to you, dear heart! I love all of your books! And what do those tanks in the background contain, or shouldn't I ask? Marly has moved to college with Rachel, so I haven't had to feed him crickets in a while.

Thank you so much for your very kind words. As always, just hearing from you makes me feel better. Mark read the letter first, but I warned him that if he found something in the mail and didn't tell me about it, that I would be upset. I think shredding it might have been a good idea, but unfortunately, we are going to proceed with some legal actions pertaining to possible visitation, and if we do that, I will need as much proof as I can provide. Please don't mention that part on my blog. I would love to have a phone chat when my girls go back to school. We will have to try to schedule a date!

Big hugs,
Debbie

PS-I read someplace that you lost Zach. I am very, very sorry, Alison. I know how special and important he was to your family. He was a good boy. You were a good Mom to him!

What can I say my friend? All good fairies think alike! Portable is so much easier, don't you think? (And not as heavy on the wings! He he!)

I have a laptop but have not yet got round to blogging from it. Thank goodness, that would have required far too much tidying up to take the photos yesterday!

Very nice! i have a laptop too, but still prefer to blog from my desktop! But, my desktop is in my "great" room where the family hangs out, so i hav the best of both worlds.

That was a great idea - getting a laptop so you were more portable. :) What is in those aquariums?

I'm seeing so many laptops and I'm so envious. There are so many advantages to being mobile. I shall have to save a bit harder!!

Certainly a positive change to be able to spend time with your family while blogging! Aren’t laptops the best? I’ve shared MY blogging spaces at Small Reflections.
Hugs and blessings,

I know what you mean about being away from the family. Our PC is on the kitchen so at night Mr B and I hardly see each other. I'm getting a laptop soon though so I can blog and be near him and the kids too. I can't wait. :D

Oh! Your coffee table is lovely!

My computer is in an upstairs bedroom, AWAY from everyone else. Except they follow me up there!

You are right ! Blogging shouldn't be separation from real life ! How nice you now blog amongst your family !
