Fun Monday

Our most excellant host this week is Tiggerlane, the Neophyte Blogger. Thank you so much for hosting....your assignment is a good one!!!

Our assignment this week is the following:

Have you heard of The Bucket List? Well, that's what I want from you! Make a list of things you want to do before you die. It must be at least five items - and you can make it as long as you desire. Photos are optional. And let's hear about some of the wackiest, most bizarre to-do's on your Bucket List!

So here is my Bucket List:

1. Have only one size clothing in my closet, preferably the smaller size!!

2. Take my children to England and Wales to meet their aunts, uncles, and cousins

3. Take my son to South Carolina to meet his birthfamily.

4. Go to Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Tetons.

5. Visit Alaska and travel up the Inland Passage.

6. Get another tatoo.

7. Watch my children fall in love and get married.

8. Become a Grandmother.

9. Finish my To Do List of home repairs both inside and outside.

10. Purchase a vacation home, preferably on the beach.

Those are my goals, what I would like to achieve in my lifetime...

Now grab a cup of coffee and head on over to TiggerLane to read the other Bucket Lists!!!

I once spent a week exploring Yellowstone and the Tetons. I would love to go back someday. If I ever completed on the repairs and improvements I have planned for my house, I probably would kick the bucket from shock!

I agree with you on #1 Alison! How would you do your family travel out west--everyone pile in the car and be gone for a couple of weeks? My friends love Alaska--they go almost every year to help with the Ididerod

#6??!!!!! Oh how cool is that? I have one, but I've never even considered getting another 'til you have placed in on your list.

My Fun Monday is posted. I had a good time this week, voicing my opinions on Fun Monday.
Happy week to you.

Those are great goals Alison. Numbers 2,3,7, an 8 touch my heart. I guess that numbers seven and eight were on my list, but now both sons are married to lovely women. Plus, I have two beautiful granddaughters.

lots of travel dreams in there...

i approve!

Ha! Love number 1! Number two is on my list, but that time is limited so we're going to try to do that this summer. My grandmother is in Wales and is 90. My grandfather is in London and is 92. So it's a pretty much now or never kind of deal. The credit card companies are gonna LOVE me!

Good luck with it - especially number 1. I think I'm going to work on that one too. :)

Alaska is an amazing place. Everyone should visit there at least once.

1,6,7,8 are all on my list too... there are so many things that could go on my list. I wouldn't mind a vacation beach house too! Great list!

Nice list. I'd go to Yellowstone just to say I was there.

everyone wants to live on the beach but me! i'd take a day in the country living next to a creek or pond versus a lifetime on a beach!

#1. Yes. If that happened I would buy all new clothes.

Find list - but, I would skip the tattoo. You can have those scary needles! hee hee

I've got to come back and read your Adoption journey

My parents live on the beach. In SC no less!

Wen I get my cottage you can come and stay. -Ann reminded me to get double pane windows and a fireplace in every room.

Hubby and I shopped online last night and found some great ones!

I love your first one! I can so relate. I'm realizing that there are a lot of places in the U.S. worth seeing haven't been seen by me...

With you on number 1!

Terrific list and what a terrific story of Cassie.

I think these are all attainable goals. Great list!

Are you originally from England or Wales? What part?

Great list - My husband and I were making plans to go to Yellowstone this summer with our kids - but now that I am having a baby, we'll put it off for another couple of years.

This is a great list. I'll pass on 6~ if I'm honest I'm not keen on tattoos. I hope you get to do these things especially 3. A vacation home on the beach would be perfect you could hire it out to bloggers when you didn't need it! We have been doing repairs to our house for nearly 21 years and still not finished~ I thought I would have finished in 5yrs~ so hope you do better than me!!

What a great list! And all very attainable!

Number 6 would seem to be the easiest but least desirable thing on your list.

I love #1! I don't think I've had one size of clothing since I was in 9th grade.

Great list! Would love a beach house too...sounds heavenly about now...we've had two morning with
-25 temps and doesn't sound like it is going to warm up for a few more days...

Love your list. :) I loved Yellowstone! But it snowed on our tent, in June! I would like my vacation home to be a log cabin in the middle of nothing. But your beach is sure tempting. :)

How funny One size of clothing..i think I need to add that to mine!!!

What a wonderful list. I hope you get to do them all. How wonderful most of them involve family. Your list although different then mine feels very much similar.

Joy T. said...

A really great list, I especially liked number one. Amen to that! I'm working on that one myself...the 'preferably smaller' part :o)

I'm with you on the smaller size of things in my closet :-)

You have included your family in your Bucket List. Most have included themselves.

Hope you get to fulfil all the things in your Bucket List.

One size clothing?
I don't think I'll ever achieve that goal!
Nice list, hope some of them happen for you, if not all!

A great list, but....get another tatoo?? Hmm, have to think about that one.
Also, I believe that number 9 only occurs in the world of fantacy. I think there will ALWAYS be more repairs. Sigh.

Love your list, and hands clapping for your #1 and #6! Happy FM!

Yellowstone - another great American travel destination! I'd join you on #1, but lately - I'm afraid it would be the BIG size! Thanks for participating!

Excellent list...I need to do #1 as well. A friend biked the Grand Tetons (motor) and the pictures were incredible.
