Fun Monday

Our most excellent hostess with the mostess this week is the lovely Karisma. Her assignment is to show something that we made, and we can't show our children. Although in my case I did not actually "make" my children, but I am "making" them into the people they are becoming....but I digress....I will show you something I created. I have never thought of myself as an artist until the gardening bug bit me a number of years ago. I love to garden and I love lots of color in my garden. The following pictures are of my front garden. My back garden in under construction right now and is not quite finished yet.

So here is my creation.....my little oasis where I get dirty and clear my mind and commune with nature....Enjoy...

Thanks for visiting my creation....now head on over to Karisma's to see everyone else's creativity!!

Now that is a garden truly fit for fairies! Just divine! Thanks for the hug and for saying you would make me soup! I wish you lived near me too! I bet we would get up to lots of mischief together! LOL!

That's a wonderful creation ! I don't have a green thumb at all but I love nice gardens. The fact of taking good pictures is also a talent !!

I especially love the first photo Alison, especially the window box. Love your garden color combos. Very serene. I'm a bit tired tonight, a couple of friends and I have spent the afternoon planting containers. Very satisfying. Hopefully you don't have to be in charge of lawn mowing as well!

What a beautiful garden! Sadly, that is not where my talents lie. I just have to settle for enjoying other people's, being careful not to touch anything with my black thumb!

I want that backyard! These are wonderful photos of your backyard that you shared with us. Thanks.

You have created such a pretty garden, I could sit on that seat (I hope I've got that right!) and just enjoy looking at the flowers :)

Beautiful! I'm working on my gardens too, but they're not picture-worthy just yet.

Alison,

your garden is beautiful! I always enjoy looking at other people's beautiful gardens - I think I'm too lazy to do all that work. Very pretty!

You garden looks lovely and I love your frog bench!

Something about digging around in the dirt is relaxing, even if it's just pulling weeds. :)

Still making my way through the Fun Monday list. Your oasis is absolutely gorgeous and something I can really relate to. I just love being outside and working in my flower and vegetable garden.

we enjoy the special get away in our back yard, too. I almost played on monday - thinking I might highlight the hubby and the beautiful little pond he built.
